The Law Offices of Scheer, Green, and Burke,  L.P.A. was formed in 1978 and has practiced solely in the area of Collection Law.  

Its roots began from Sydney P. Green in the 1930's and Harold Scheer in the 1940's.  Both attorneys specialized in the area of Collection Law.  Scheer, Green, and Burke has a diligent and aggressive team of collection lawyers with a strong proven record of success with our clients.

Michael Burke, Partner

Michael is licensed by the State of Ohio (1973) and is a member of the Toledo Bar Association.  He earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo in 1972 and his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 1969. He has been practicing collections law exclusively since 1973. Michael married his wife, Lois, in 1969 and they have two children.

Hal Burke, Partner

Hal is licensed by the State of Ohio (1998), the State of Michigan (2006) and U.S. District Court. Hal earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo in 1997 and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1994. Hal is a member of the Toledo Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association and Lucas County Bar Association. He also is a member of: the National Association of Retail Collection Lawyers, the American Collectors Association and the Commercial Collection Association. Hal is married to Lisa and together they have two children, Jack and Ben.
